Water Jet Cutting Services

ERW announces the installation of another Flow International - Abrasive Waterjet System as a complement to our existing Water Jet System and our Laser Cutting and EDM Wire capabilities. Our Flow Water Jet Centers provide us with the ability to cut, with out taper, precision parts, up to 10” thick. The Flow Internationals, equipped with the Dynamic Water Jet feature with Active Tolerance Control, allows us to hold tight tolerances on most materials, from Stainless Steel to Rubber. With a 72” x 144” table, we are able to support your large parts as well as your small parts.

Work Piece Size: 72" x 144", up to 8" thick, and 6.5' x 13', up to 10" thick

Standard Tolerance: +/- .005" for thicknesses up to 2"

Equiped with Dynamic Waterjet Feature with Active Tolerance Control to be able to cut without taper, yielding higher precision parts than conventional waterjet machines.

Materials that can be cut include:

- Steel: Mild, stainless, tool, high alloy, hardened
- Aluminum, titanium, brass, copper, bronze
- Inconel, hastelloy, tungsten, cobalt, zirconium
- Composites, Plastics, Rubber, Foam, Glass, Granite, Fiberglass, Kevlar
- No heat affected zone
- Great for cutting finished parts, as well as near net shapes, ready for final machining
